Overview
The Template Builder can be used to edit an existing template by copying lines from other templates. To open the Template Builder, expand the Lines subsection of any checklist or test template, then click the Template Builder button the top right.
The Template Builder view consists of a section header with an Exit button and a two-pane view, with a preview of the source items that are being copied from on the left and a preview of the template that's currently being edited on the right.
Source Template View
The currently selected source template is displayed in the source template view. Use the select all, deselect all, and select type buttons to select lines from the template. Selected lines from the source template can be inserted into the editing template using the copy selection button.

Use the change source button to change the selected source template.
The select source template modal is a three-pane view consisting of a searchable project list, a searchable template list, and a preview of the selected template. The parent account is included at the top of the project list.
Editing Template View
The currently selected editing template is displayed in the editing template view. Use the select all, deselect all, and select type buttons to select lines from the template. Selecting lines unlocks the action bar; some actions will prompt the user to select a position to insert selected lines.
Use the include template button to insert a template's lines into the current editing template.
The include template and select template buttons open a three-pane modal consisting of a searchable project list, a searchable template list, and a preview of the selected template. The parent account is included at the top of the project list.
