Password Requirements

In version 6.0.2, new password requirements were introduced as part of a larger effort to increase security for CxAlloy TQ. If a user has been prompted to reset their password on login, then their password does not meet the current requirements:

• Passwords must contain a minimum of 10 characters
• At least 1 uppercase letters
• At least 1 lowercase letters
• At least 1 number
• At least 1 special character (!@#$%^&*()_+-=[]{}|;:,.<>?/~`)
• Passwords must be different than the previous 2 passwords (as of release)

To ease the transition for users whose passwords do not meet these new requirements, an option has been provided to skip updating their password. Users may only skip resetting their password up to 3 times.
