Quick Add Issue

Quick Add Overview

Issues in CxAlloy need to be associated with a parent item, such as a checklist, test, field observation, or meeting. Creating an issue from the issues subsection of a parent item creates this association automatically. However, it is possible to add issues directly from the issues list or equipment page via quick add by specifying a parent report while creating the issue.

Issues List

From the issues list, press the Add New button in the section header to open the Add Issue modal.

The Add Issue modal contains the issue preset dropdown, all of the issue's major fields, and sections for adding issue attributes, a recommended action, and uploading files. When adding issues from the issues list, this modal will also include a report dropdown at the top.

Clicking the dropdown opens a searchable list of existing items that can be selected as the issue's parent. If a user has sufficient permissions, a "+" button will appear to the right of the dropdown that allows users to create a new item to use as the parent instead.

The types of reports that can be created from the add issues modal varies based on where the issue is being created from.

For construction issues, users can create a Field Observation, a Construction Meeting, or a Construction Review.

For design issues, users can create a Design Meeting or Design Review.
