Responding to work requests
To accept a work request, create a new work order and/or connect existing work orders to the request.
When you select "New Work Order," you will be brought to a page where you can create a new work order of the same name as the request and with the request description filled in. Make changes as necessary and add the relevant information, then save the new work order. The new work order will be displayed in the work order section of the work request detail page.
When you select "Connect Work Order," a search bar will appear at the top of the page. Search for and select the existing work orders that you would like to connect to the request and press the "Connect" button in the top right. When a request is accepted, the requester will receive an email update, notifying him of the status change.
When all of the work orders associated with a work request have been completed, the status of the request will be changed to Complete, and the request can no longer be edited. The requester will then receive an email, notifying him of the completion of his request.
To close a work request, press "Respond and Close." A text box, in which you can add your response or reason to close the request, will appear at the top of the page. When you have entered your response, press "Send and Close" to email the requester of the decision.
